Tanya Bachmeier is the CEO of Cornerstone Timberframes, a Canadian leader in heavy timber structures since 1991. Tanya grew up in a family that was involved in every aspect of construction. After graduation she joined her father and uncle in running Cornerstone Timberframes. She learned the business from the ground up, doing bookkeeping, developing 3D structural models, working in production, meeting clients, and applying finishes to timbers after hours. In 2015, Tanya and her husband purchased Cornerstone and together they transformed it into a multifaceted manufacturer with a focus on residential timber frames and commercial mass timber.
