Aedan Callaghan | Director - Mass Timber & Technical Services

Aedan Callaghan is a materials engineering graduate from McGill University. Aedan has become Pliteq's subject matter expert on acoustical isolation for achieving impact and airborne sound transmission in mass timber construction with project experience on numerous mass timber buildings in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest USA. As Pliteq's Director of Mass Timber Acoustics he has been involved in over 100 mass timber projects providing engineering support and on-site training. He is passionate about decarbonizing construction. While based in Vancouver, winter weekends are spent watching hockey or up in Whistler skiing and summer weekends are at Kits beach or East Van breweries.

Alex Hayami | Business Development Engineer

Alex Hayami is a mechanical engineering graduate from Queen’s University. Alex is currently the Pacific Regional Director, specializing in providing solutions for impact and airborne sound transmission in multifamily and commercial construction. Over the past three years, Alex has actively contributed to Mass Timber projects across the region, utilizing rebonded rubber to reduce embodied carbon and achieve superior acoustical performance. In his spare time, Alex is an avid fisherman and enjoys playing hockey, as well as hitting the ski slopes in the winter.

Morgan Sadler | Managing Director

Morgan Sadler has been involved in strategic business development at Pliteq for over ten years. She is currently Managing Director and is passionate about Pliteq's mission to divert waste from landfill to give these materials a new home and purpose. Morgan focuses on educating architects and developers on the benefits of using ELT (end of life tires) to address sound and vibration control in the built environment. Outside of Pliteq, Morgan enjoys the outdoors, playing music, making art - all in the company of her two little boys.
