Luke was born and raised in Ft. Collins, CO as the oldest of 5 kids.  He received a Bachelor’s degree from CSU and Master’s degree from CU Boulder, both in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis.  He spent 8 years working as a design engineer at Structural Consultants Inc and KL&A prior to joining Lam-Wood Systems in 2014.  At Lam-Wood, Luke wears multiple hats serving clients and customers in commercial construction projects through supply of engineered wood products, combining technical expertise with excellent products direct from the mills.   His design expertise is in wood and steel construction, and in complex connections and framing.  Outside of the office, Luke enjoys the Colorado outdoors with his wife and 3 kids, whether biking, fishing, climbing, or hunting.
