Gudmundur not only looks at the initial building design and its impact

on the community and surrounding areas, but the long-term operation of that building.  Gudmundur is always involved from the initial feasibility or programming, through design and documentation and all the way through construction.  Gudmundur views that following up with clients throughout the years after opening is not only the best client service possible, but it’s a way for the design team to grow and learn.  Designers need to understand how to design great facilities that look and operate the same way they do after 10 years as they do on opening day.
