Megan is a Structural Engineer and Engineering Project Manager at KL&A Engineers and Builders, where she leads a team of 16 structural engineers specializing in mass timber design. Over her 13 years with the firm, she has led structural design for a diverse range of projects across Colorado and the Mountain West, including high-end residential, commercial mixed-use, adaptive reuse, and multi-family developments; many of which incorporate mass timber systems. She is particularly interested in the structural opportunities mass timber creates for innovative and efficient building solutions across a wide range of project types and scales.
Known for her collaborative leadership style, Megan works closely with architects, contractors, and developers to deliver structural systems that balance performance, constructability, and design intent. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree from the Colorado School of Mines, and is a licensed Professional and Structural Engineer in Colorado.
