Ankit Sanghvi brings 24 years of construction experience to the intersection of preconstruction strategy and sustainable building innovation. As Director of Preconstruction for PCL's Colorado operations, he partners closely with owners, design teams, and key stakeholders to deliver cost-effective solutions from project inception through construction. A passionate advocate for the expanded use of mass timber construction, Ankit has presented at more than a dozen mass timber conferences across the country, is a member of the Colorado Mass Timber Coalition, and has authored five publications aimed at breaking down barriers and misconceptions that limit the material's broader adoption.
His hands-on project experience reinforces his expertise. Ankit has led preconstruction on seven mass timber projects, including the Burwell Center for Career Achievement at the University of Denver, one of the first LEED Platinum V4 buildings in Colorado, where the primary structure was built entirely with CLT floor panels, roof panels, and shear walls. He was also the Project Manager for the CSU Pavilion at Laurel Village in Fort Collins in 2012, the first project in Colorado to use CLT panels as its primary structural system, achieving LEED Platinum certification. Most recently, Ankit oversaw preconstruction efforts on the 12-story Summit House student housing project at Metropolitan State University of Denver, on track to become the tallest mass timber structure in Colorado and scheduled for completion in the Spring of 2027.
Ankit holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, and holds LEED AP BD+C and DBIA credentials. In his spare time, Ankit enjoys skiing, running, playing and coaching ice hockey, and spending time with his 2 kids.
