Carin Steber is the CEO of Timber Pro Coatings, a family-owned manufacturer of environmentally responsible wood and masonry treatments trusted across the mass timber and architectural industries for over 30 years. Carin has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Oregon’s Lundquist School of Business and attended Marquette Law, bringing a unique blend of strategic, operational, and regulatory insight to her leadership.
Her early career in the collegiate and professional sports industry shaped her perspective on high-performance environments—where performance, accountability, and adaptability are non-negotiable. Those same principles now guide her work in scaling sustainable innovation at the intersection of chemistry, construction, and climate resilience.
A longtime climate justice advocate, Carin is deeply invested in building materials that not only perform but also protect—materials that extend the life of the wood, reduce environmental impact, and meet the moment as wildfire and durability challenges intensify. Under her leadership, Timber Pro has expanded its impact across North America, including major public and private infrastructure projects.
She believes coatings should do more than finish a surface—they should future-proof it.
