Since returning to the family business in 2001, Kyle has overseen major initiatives in cogeneration, plant modernization, and product innovation—most notably the development of Freres’ Mass Plywood Panel (MPP), a proprietary structural panel that’s reshaping the future of sustainable construction. With a background in industrial engineering and systems consulting for Fortune 500 clients, Kyle brings a strategic, tech-forward mindset to one of the Pacific Northwest’s most storied wood products companies.
